The New 2023 KDFL Season will kick off this weekend – Sunday 2nd April .
Clane United’s Senior Team are in action on the Old Bog Road against Clongorey FC on Sunday morning at 11am hoping to kick on from last years successful run to the final of the Lumsden League Cup. Daragh and his management team have high hopes with some new additions to bolster an already talented squad.
Our new 2nd team manger Robbie Byrne will be hoping to start the new season in Division 1 with a win when they host St Anthonys Youths FC at home on Sunday with a 11am kick off. After last year’s disappointing season, Robbie has been working the lads hard as they look to bounce back to winning ways with a first game since September 2022.
The final game of the inaugural KDFL Under 20 season for Clane United Under 20s will see the visit of local neighbours Caragh Celtic to the Doctors Road on Saturday afternoon for a 2pm kick off. Following cup disappointment last week, Derek and Chris are hoping to finish a very positive first campaign with a win.
