Full Time: Clane Utd Black 8 – 2 Naas Competition: U16 Shield Venue: Doctors Road, Clane Co.Kildare Great team performance. 2 goals from George Reilly and one from Eoin McGlynn put us 3-1 up at half time. Commencing second half as strong as the first with a fourth from Ewan Donnelly just after restart widened the gulf between the teams. Clane were in cruise control at this point with a further 4x goals scored before the final whistle. A comfortable 8-2 win to Clane to progress into the quarter final. Full Time: Clane Utd (P) 5 – 0 Clane Utd (M1) Competition: U16 Cup Venue: Doctors Road, Clane Co.Kildare After a fine win against Caragh major team last week , the major 1 team put in a robust first half performance . Early goal from Zack Devey got the premier teams off to an early lead, but the M1s held it well right up until the end of hald time, before Christian Kelly made it two before the break . Second half was a step too far for the major 1 team and goals from Rory Maguire , Aiden Maddock and Callum Fogarty wrapped up a dominant second half for Clane’s premier outfit.
